The theme for this accordion fold book is the city Singapore. I have been making annual pilgrimage since I was 13. The city has shown me some wonderful experiences. Architecturally, Singapore is very organized and geometric, which is what I was aiming to uphold throughout the book. I focused on using simple fonts, simple positive-negative shape associations and space created by them, and a layout constant in the entire book. I used the text from the cover and back pages as a constant running background to enhance the negative space and give form to the shapes.
